Lisa and Norm Smith started the Make Your House A Home interior design business as a husband and wife team. They saw a need for quality, affordable designer furniture, interiors and gardens in Central Victoria.

The MYHAH team are motivated by aesthetics and practicality. We desire to help people get a great look and feel for their home, using practical colours and items that don't cost the earth.

We only employ people with a 'can-do' attitude; team players who are prepared to go the extra mile for our clients. Every item we source and stock has to be high quality, the kind of items we would use in our own homes.

We look forward to helping you create the designer home of your dreams.

Position: Co-owner and Business Manager

Why I like working at MYHAH: I'm doing what I love and I'm surrounded by gorgeous things every day! Our clients are all so great to work with, and it's inspiring to be part of such a talented and dynamic team.

My personal decor style: Warm minimalist.

My favourite decor item: Stainless steel arc lamp - it's timeless.

My favourite colour theme: Warm coffees, lattes and chocolate, with a splash of colour.

Norm Smith

Position: Co-Owner and Garden Designer

Why I like working at MYHAH: I get to do what I love - designing gardens. I enjoy being able to use many different design ideas when helping people create their gardens. Creating beautiful, functional and easy-care gardens is very satisfying.

My personal garden style: Low maintenance, water-wise gardens

My favourite garden item: Waterproof wall art.

My Favourite plant: Agava Attenuata.

Carla Anderson

Position: Interior Design & Sales Consultant

Why I like working at MYHAH: Being able to help our clients do what I love and am most passionate about - interior design. I love the fact that we can customise furniture or find what our customers are looking for.

My personal decor style: Minimalist, blending old with new.

My favourite decor item: Cubed shelving with baskets. I love storing all the kids toys in the baskets and having some open shelves for the special pieces.

My favourite colour theme: Whites with taupes and browns. I can then add bright colours here and there then change them easily.

Alyse Ennor

Position: Sales Consultant

Why I like working at MYHAH: I love working in such a positive, friendly yet professional environment. Also, to work with items that I love so much ... I want to take every single piece home with me!

My personal decor style: Simple eclectic ... mixing old rustic woods with new contemporary items.

My favourite decor item: Vases ... the range is endless!

My favourite colour theme: Dark base colours with bright, changeable colours splashed in.

I'm passionate about seeing a dull room with no life transformed into a room with personality + the wow factor.
