PANTONE Colour of The Year 2024

PANTONE Colour of The Year 2024

When the PANTONE Colour of The Year is released at the end of every year, there is great excitement in the air! The representation of a new colour brings with it new possibilities, new opportunities to challenge designers and push boundaries to create spaces that are on trend, yet evoking authenticity for clients.

The PANTONE Colour of The Year for 2024 is Peach Fuzz. What is Peach Fuzz? According to the Pantone Colour Institute “PANTONE 13-1023 Peach Fuzz captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others. It’s a velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body and soul”.

“In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection we chose a colour radiant with warmth and modern elegance. A shade that resonates with compassion, offers a tactile embrace, and effortlessly bridges the youthful with the timeless.”

Leatrice Eiseman – Executive Director Pantone Colour Institute
We are really excited about this colour at Make Your House A Home. Why are we excited? Because creating nurturing environments is what we love to do! This shade resonates with us, because it is soft and calming, soothing and restorative.

But the big question that lingers is how do you use Peach Fuzz in your home? Our Style Team have curated a collection of pieces in this hue and have used this colour in a “Clash Colour Scheme”. For this colour scheme, we use two colours – Peach and Green.

It's interesting, when you look around at nature, these two colours are quite prominent in our surrounds. It's no accident that these two colours are so widely used as inspiration colours.

Here is a tip for this colour scheme – we are using varying shades of peach and green, and you can be very flexible with the shades. We have leaned towards pinky peach and sage green. It's about interpretation, looking at what will work for you to create a space that is authentically you.
