We lived with our lounge room “undecorated” for many years waiting to find just the right items. Hi Julie,
Just thought I would let you know that the following has occured...
no one wants to help me cook dinner
no one wants to do the jobs or do the dishes....
All as they want to do is head for the couches and not move!
They are really beautiful, comfortable and I would like to thank you for all your assistance and advice. We are all very happy with the comfort, design and the size.
(The one that loves them the most is the daugther that complained about the red color for sixteen weeks!)
I would also like to thank the delivery guys they were very patient with the whole delivery and took time and care, which was lovely - and I really appreciated the couch being delivered direct to our lounge room.

Hi Lisa, photos don't do it justice but we are thrilled with the furniture and decorating is slowly but surely coming together.... the lounge room now looks much brighter and open and the bedroom is simply beautiful!!!

Hi Lisa, the furniture is coming up really great! Rust/orange colour makes a massive difference, as does the canvas! Haven't set up the rug yet.

Just wanted to say congratulations the store looks beautiful. So many great things to look at I'll have to come back again to take it all in. But overall it looks fabulous and you should be very proud of yourselves for creating it in such a relatively short time. Hello, I thought I would send a quick email to say thank you to the girls that helped me pick out the hundreds of cinnamon bark swirls this morning. I used these for a mirror project I have been working on. I found this old mirror at a garage sale for $5 and sanded it back and repainted the frame. I was looking for something natural to give it some texture to adorn the frame, and the cinnamon bark did just the trick! I have attached a photo of my finished product. Thanks again for the great service and I will be back again soon to visit your store once relocated.

Dealing with Alyse on the phone when ordering the bar stools, was an absolute pleasure. She phoned back immediately to say that she didn't have an answer as yet and was great, she let me know when she would have an answer and made sure that she called when she said she would. Having recently moved into a brand new home and not sure what to do with the spaces, the design service at make your house a home made the decisions easy. Carla walked me through many ideas and possibilities, making time to really understand my tastes and expectations. The results were fantastic the shapes and colours blended to make a modern but comfortable and classic feel for the home.

I walked in to Make Your House a Home to search out some ideas for my new house.
Lisa was there to greet me and together we set on the journey to convert my new house to a home.
My house was totally bare and I had some ideas but I just didn' t know what would work the best.
Then my saviour Lisa ventured over to my house, talking through some ideas so she understood my ideas and taking measurements and photos so she could go away and think about what would look best.
Lisa produced a book of ideas with materials and photos for us to discuss and perhaps for me to use in my house.
It was great seeing the ideas in front of me so I had a better idea of how things would look.
I trusted Lisa' s instincts and now my new house has been transformed into a beautiful home with great colours, fabrics, cushions, rugs, wall paintings, foot stools and lamps.
All my guests comment on how fabulous my home looks, the first word is WOW.

We had some basic ideas and were not really sure of how to go the next step. Enter Lisa!
We strongly recommend Lisa and her team - right from the beginning at the initial consultation where Lisa took the time to understand what we liked and wanted to achieve. Lisa also subtly introduced new ideas and concepts that we loved but would never have thought of by ourselves. We certainly received our value from this consultation by asking many questions and seeking advice.
The initial consultation is the best valued money anyone looking at improving their home can spend, from this a plan is provided and there is never any pressure to accomplish any of it in a certain timeframe – it's a master plan that you can achieve at your own leisure and according to your own finances, taking one step at a time.
Though in our case, once we got started implementing the ideas from Lisa – we couldn't stop! We were eager to see the reality of our plan come to life, Lisa was great in assisting with further advice & ideas along the way - even coming back to our home again to ensure everything went smoothly.
Our children love the color of their feature walls in their bedrooms and we all love the color recommended for various walls in our kitchen & living areas that unites the whole house in together but has each room with its own unique inpiduality in layout, furniture and accessories.

We wanted to update our living area, but with a business and young family, we didn't have the time to look around for furniture or ideas. We also had no idea when it came to matching things and choosing colours and furniture.
We contacted 'Make Your House A Home' and one of their interior design consultants visited our house and immediately put our minds at rest. She presented us with new ideas, colour samples, paintings and furniture choices in a booklet showing us diagrams of furniture placement, samples of wall colours and advised us on curtain styles and patterns. We also received pictures showing us choices of furniture, artwork and rugs which would suit our home. All we had to do was contact her with our choices. She sourced the suppliers and did the rest.
Our living area has now been transformed from being dull with 'make-do' furniture, into a beautifully decorated modern room, and we didn't even have to leave the house to do it!
