IN-STORE ADVICE + SELECTION - $80 per hour
IN-HOME ADVICE + REPORT - $200 to $500 package
IN-HOME STYLING SERVICE - $100 per hour
DESIGN + COLOUR ADVICE SERVICE - $150 per hour
makeyourhouseahome consultants will travel outside their local area - a travel fee of $40 per hour applies which is non-refundable, or we can correspond with you via email (photographs etc)
What can we expect to happen, if we would like to go ahead and book a consultation???COMMON EXAMPLE (local area)
Jane Smith just moved into a newly built home with her family, they moved furniture from their old home but it is just not working and doesn't do the new home justice. Jane doesn't know where to start, so she makes an appointment for a makeyourhouseahome consultant to visit. Jane prepares for the visit by having an accurate copy of the floor plan ready for the consultant so the consultant doesn't need to waste time having to hand measure all the rooms. Jane also has a list of any questions or items that she wishes to discuss with the consultant during the visit. The consultant walks through the house, takes photographs of the rooms that need to be considered and then discusses Jane's "wish list" (client brief) making notes as necessary. A budget can also be discussed in regards to the consultation fee.
During the week or so following the visit the consultant develops a concept with a course of action that needs to be taken for Jane to achieve her desired outcome. This may include, but is not limited to:
Jane then meets with her consultant at the makeyourhouseahome showroom to go over the suggestions (this time is not billable). At this point the client will receive a copy of their report (if requested) and a bill which is due to be paid at that time.
Within the next 3 months - if Jane proceeds and orders the items recommended and the total value of the order is $4000+, then the consultants fee is refunded from the total and 30% deposit required to be paid for makeyourhouseahome to start organising for the consolidation of the order. This can be done in 2 stages if requested by the client ... the furniture delivered and placed as per the report and then the consultant returns to accessorise and style the finishing touches... ie. cushions, throw rugs, decorator accessories etc...
SATISFACTION GUARANTEEWe are only happy if you are happy, so open communication between client and consultant is crucial. Take some time letting your consultant know key issues, ie. if you dislike a particular colour, it would be handy to let her know so that it can be avoided in the concept... If for any reason you don't like our suggestions we will keep working with you until you do... our most important goal is to help you make your house a home that suits you and your lifestyle!
