Personally, I love it! I think it’s the first time in years that Pantone have nailed it when it comes to interiors and how it relates to the home furnishing industry.
In times when there is so much uncertainty in the world, it really is all about creating your own little sanctuary. Home is our little safe place. It's so important that your home provides you with harmony, balance and peace, the opportunity to renew and restore depleted energy levels.
What better way to do it than with greenery? I love real plants but struggle to keep them looking their best inside. There was a time where I despised artificial plants, but they really have come a long way. My favourite at the moment is banana plants because they are lush, a great shade of green and look fantastic in a gorgeous textured basket or a Uashamama paper basket.

There are other easy ways to incorporate Greenery into your living space such as scatter cushions for your sofa.
At Make Your House A Home, you can browse our extensive fabric department and choose any fabric to be made up into cushions.
You can choose the size and fill options (once you have feather filled cushions it’s really hard to go back to poly inners) but either work. This is a great way to achieve an individual look that is tailored to your style and taste. An added bonus is that it means you'll never go to your friend's house seeing they have same cushions as you!
